     My name is Richard, and I have been working with Mr. Greg Smith on Spanish for about 5 months now.  I originally called him for help in the French language, because I had given up on Spanish. Being a college student, it was tough to find a way to take up languages as a hobby while taking a full load of classes. I had tried every learning Spanish program out there (and I do mean EVERY program), with little to no success with any of them. Embarrassingly enough, what little Spanish I did know was literally LAUGHED at by some of my native Spanish-speaking friends, because of how OUTRAGEOUSLY formal it was. They used to sarcastically tell me "That may be how they say it in the remote village in Spain that you're from, but everyone in this hemisphere would laugh at that." Humiliated by this, I purchased some of the other courses that promise to teach you to speak like the Latin-Americans. As I soon realized, these products produced the same results (or lack thereof) because they focus on "listen and repeat, listen and repeat..." Using this method, nothing is ever explained and therefore never understood. Frustrated by failure, I GAVE UP. This is when I called Spanish Explained for help. They took the time to explain to me how I had not failed in Spanish, but rather how Spanish had just been presented to me in an un-realistic manner. 5 months later, I get to watch my Spanish-speaking friends mouth's drop as I routinely use words like " chela " instead of " cerveza ." They say "This is vocabulary that a non-native speaker just doesn't know."
       That's when it hit me, not only was I really learning Spanish, but I was really learning to speak like the LATIN-AMERICANS speak. I am STUNNED at the results that I have achieved so quickly. It's amazing how when someone teaches you the patterns of the language, that it suddenly makes sense. Instead of memorizing Spanish, I finally learned it. I've enjoyed learning Spanish under this system so much, that I have recently started Italian with Mr. Smith and his incredible teaching methods.
        Spanish Explained, your system is simply AMAZING, and I can't thank you enough for making sure that I have truly learned the language that I had once given up on.

     WOW! I thought that it would be impossible for me to learn a second language, but I needed to work with Hispanic customers more and more. I was looking for a program that would teach me Spanish, not just say “el gato” “the cat” “el perro” “the dog” and have me listen and repeat to boring, monotone lessons. I was shocked when I downloaded the lectures and was able to put sentences together in multiple tenses in just one hour! This system is amazing, and I have since purchased the full set.
